I went down in the front, and I still want a little more engine break know that im gonna finally start fucking with the hand brake.

I know stock 954 is 43, / f4i is 46. I think that would be good.

What are the pros and cons of running a 525 sprocket with a 530 chain.

that would be the case if I put a f4i stock sprocket on the rear of the 954.

any suggestions?

will the -1/ +3 have good engine break?

thanks.

I´m -1/+4 (15/46) and I´m happy with my engine brake, but I´m not riding idle yet so I might be not a good reference...lol

The chain will have a lil bit play on the 525 sprocket, get a 530 sprocket and you don´t have to worry about fucking up your sprocket or chain, just my :twocents:

good looks man...thats what im gonna do. I just wanted to go the cheap route since I already had a f4i sprocket at hand. but ill spend the $60 bucks and get a +4 vortex 530 pitch.

btw 15/46 fits with the stock 108 link chain, so no longer chain required!

I like my gearing, maybe 15/48 or 50 would be better but the 15/46 setup works and it´s very good rideable on streets for the daily ride.
