R6 idle cable, usable for Honda???

I found out that R6 idle cables might be the longest of all.
Are they usable as a 2nd idle cable or do they break easy and what about the thread, will it fit a Honda (954)?

I don´t have one, just think about to buy a complete carburetor off Ebay and wanted to know if it works before I spend money on it

it doesnt need to be that long just buy one off an 929 or 900rr or an f3 if you want it to be long the f3 is the way to go. i know a 636 cable will work on a gsxr but i dont know about on a honda or yamaha..

on my 600rr i have one from a 900RR it´s long enough and works fine for me

I know the CBR cables fit and the F3´s are the best, but there are no single idle cables for sale on german ebay and I don´t want to buy a brand new one from Honda cause it´s to expensive, so I need to buy a cheap carburetor off ebay and want to know if R6 cables are an option on Hondas.

600rr is the longest one i ever seen but i personally hate long idle cable adjust cuz it breaks real easy.

actually it makes no difference if you buy that thing from ebay probably that ll cost you same amount on idle adjust cable at honda dealership ya know ?

Honda wants 24€ and a cheap carb goes for 1-15€ on ebay but it takes time.... so I guess you´re right and I´ll go to my Honda dealer, spend 10 bucks more and get me a new one for an F3.

ride around on your 954 until you spot a f2/f3 parked somewhere...sneak up to it, locate idle cable, proceed to un thread (lefty loosey) and wala! problem solved
