Wanted to know if the lock and ignition sets are the same. I broke my key off and the lock smith wants more then i can get a 1000rr set for.
please let me know if any of you have tried switching

no... u want to know if the wiring connector/clips are the same.
an ignition is an ignition.
why dont you pull your ignition off the bike. bring it to a locksmith...have em pull the key out, and make you a new one???
thats what id do.

what kind of price did you get for the 1000rr lockset? i got a complete lockset for a 1000rr
