It is with a heavy, heavy heart that i report to you the death of a legend. Dimebag Darrell, the former lead guitarist for the hugely popular band Pantera and newly formed band Damage Plan was shot and killed by some sick fuck at one of their shows. Sounds like he was the first guy the gunman went for.
Dimebag was a trend setting guitar player that could absolutely kill shit on stage. He has a HUGE following for his ear splitting solos and his heavyier than metal ground pounding riffs. He will be forever missed in the music industry by musicians and fans alike.
What really makes me sick about this is that his long time band mate, from Pantera, and brother Vinnie Paul is the drummer for Damage Plan too. I can not even begin to fathom what he must be going through right now. My heart goes out to Damage Plan, Pantera and their families and fans everywhere.
RIP :( RIP:( RIP :( RIP :( RIP

Pantera was the one band I was never able to see live, but wished I always would have. That entire band was extremely talented. It's a damn shame. He will be missed. RIP

Well here is what his item desciption reads.
All I can say is its fucked up!
You are bidding on an un-official Dimebag Darrell t-shirt. This one is
so realistic, it even has 5 (five) .45 caliber bullet holes in it. (Identical to the one pictured, except with bullet holes in it.) Hey, good enough for one of the world's greatest guitarists, good enough for you!! Get yours while the lead is hot!!
Since I've been getting a rash of questions about this item, I've decided to include a photo of the .45 and the five rounds that will be put in the shirt. The pistol and ammunition, per eBay rules, are not for sale, I wouldn't want them to end up in another heavy metal icon.

Yes, I have a few of the CD's myself and RIP to him. But I will say that the hateful shit they project just came back to him. Don't come and tell me they are the friendliest guys around and they mean well. Come on if you were going to say that, shame on you, you know better than that.
I got some rare shit too. But again, sometimes you get what you put out. There were several murders done to victims where the killer/s said that they listened to Pantera to get them hype...
One being in Jasper texas... SO I feel sorry for him, as I do for the people who got motiviated to kill someone else due to a song/s they heard so many times it entered their subconscience mind. Some folks aren't stable enough to listen to this sort of music...
They were among the classics though. Far from the commercial shit you hear today...

WOW, thats harsh....................but true. I will say in their defense that they arent the mean nasty kill ya rather than look at ya guys they sing about. One of my old room mates was a HUGE Pantera fan, that doesnt mean he's gonna listen to "Cowboys From Hell" over and over again and go out and kill a bunch of people. He is one of the craziest cats i know and probably one of the toughest too but he's one of the best most loyal friends i have today. Guys like them are good people just dont piss them off. The songs they sing are mostly, MOSTLY, about real life experiences. Just because they sing about it doesnt mean they've done it, they are just releasing pent up aggression through their music.
The song "5 Minutes Alone" was about a kid that was giving them shit at a concert so Phil Anselmo the lead singer asked someone in the crowd to kick his ass and the kid got sent to the hospital. The kids dad sued the band and was quoted to say "If I had 5 minutes alone with that Phil Anselmo guy...." I doubt it ever actually happened that the old man and Phil met but its a kick ass song about a real life experience.
Yeah they sang about some bad shit but its just music. Isnt it a little harsh to say that because they sing about bad stuff sometimes that it should be brought back on them?
If that was the case would Eminem still be around??
