Question about a tat.

I have been told tats on your ribs hurt real bad. Is this true? I have been trying to decide what tattoo i want and think I finally decided on what i want but the only place i want one is on my rib cage. What should i be ready to expect?

pain...and being uncomfortable...make sure you have some candy or somthing to keep your blood sugar up. other then that make sure you go to someone good you dont want a shitty piece.

Some spots are worse than others just like everyting, everone has a diff pain tolarence and everyone has there own lil spots that hurt, were all built a lil diff... so just go for it..

Do your homework man, its ganna be on ur body for the rrest of ur life, look at her work, make sure she has nice lines, especially doin letters, trust me u can mess up letters...

My armpit didn't hurt at all really, the inside of my colour bones hurt pretty nicely, outside tickled...

my foot was my first spot i ever had tatted. i didnt know what to expect. i didnt think it was bad at all. the worst is when it was healing and was itching like crazy.

thats wild how people can be so different. my sister got her foot done and it didn't bother her either. mine is from my knee down over my foot all the way around my leg. 7 or 8 hours i was hurtin, but ok. he hit my foot and it was like hot fuckin fire!!!!! hahahaha!!!! who knows i guess right?? :shrugg

Not bad, going rate for a costum tatt shop is about 140 an hour...so thats a good price.

i am a tattoo artist.... i do ribs a lot and have mine done... they do hurt. but everyone takes it diffrent. if your gunna do the ribs expect some pain... and make sure you eat well before hand and have some sweets with you to keep that blood shuggar up dont be afraid to take a brake... do it in sessions if it is a big piece and breath!

ribs aren't as bad as everyone claims. i've got full left rib side done in black and grey. the first hour kinda hurt but after that i got used to it. hell i liked it so much i came back for 2 more sittings to get the shade work and touch ups done...
