Whats up guys I am new on here and had a question about gearing. When someone says there bike is geared does that mean they changed the front and rear sprokets or do they actually do work to the tranny. Also what is the pupose of a huge sproket, is that just for stunting.

I have an 06 cbr600rr. I dont even knoe where to start and what sizes to get for the front and rear or can I just do the rear. I am taking it that the larger the sprocket the more pull you get, but I ride the bike on the freeway and dont want to loose performance. What do you recommend.

i skipped all the jumping of the sprockets and went straight to a 60 in the rear and -1 in the front sprocket, i love it.... sucks for the highway but its possible to ride the highway with mine.. i got a 954 so i dont kno how the 600 will do on the highway but i imagine its possible.
