Ok, this is more of a different form of a question. I was driving and this popped into my head and didnt have a definitive answer in terms of true legality.

You always see this "do not try this at home" phrase when you are about to see some death defying stunt or whatever it may be.

But are they still technically liable if the person decides to "try the act" outside of their home and in the streets of the public or anywhere away from their home?

Obviously, they mean don't try it at any time but people are sue happy and this is a technical glitch in its wording....

Anybody know the law and a lawyers perspective on it?

i dont know i think jackass still got sued even though they say "dont try this at home. i guess it would depend on how good/bad each sides lawyer is. who ever has the best lawyer will probably win.

now adays, they say that this is done by professionals or under the supervision of professionals and should not be attempted.

this pretty much would give a judge the right to throw the case away.

If you see a sign that says no lifeguard on duty swim at own risk and you drown, whos fault is it. yours you dumb ass learn to swim
