Which do you think is better and why? The 03-04 636 or 05-06 636?

i like my 03/04 better than my bros 05/06. in my opinion its got a better feel, and more durable. Plus the front seat comes off with one bolt on the 03, and the battery is right there. You have to remove the side pieces, seat, and gastank to get to the seat on the 05. But the 03s dont have wave rotors, and the front ends are iffy

this has been discussed a bunch of times and ppl love their good old 03/04s. i prefer the 05/06 and they both have their pluses and minuses. overall durabilty the 03/04 is tops, however i believe the 05/06 forks are better as theyre showa and not kyb. and yah theyre a little more complcated to work on than the 03/04 but i never really had any issues, certainly alot easier than a fuckin 600rr. if you run the stock exhuast then you will find the 05/06 has more low end pull and will idle stronger than the 03/04 as it has an exhuast valve to help with backpressure. the tank is split back half tank and front half is airbox which i actually like cuz i only do back dents anyway, i dont need a full flat top. and it dents in super easy, compared to the 03/04 which u have to cut out the splash guard if u plan on denting it in far as it will hit the inside of the tank. theyre both great bikes. i jsut really loved the style of the 05/06 and i dont huck my bikes around the lot like a brand new rider so the minor durability issues dont bother me.
