u did that urself? right on brother! my boy is getting into welding and is buying all the stuff he needs to start makin our own stuff, i have never welded but for my first project i wanna cut ny silencer in half take out the packing then weld it together half of the size that it is now

sweet looks just like mines, i got a question for you or anybody with a bike like oues on here, what do you do with the air hose i circled, i took mines off does that make a diff in top speed performance, lat time i rode min like that anything over 60mph and the moter went flat literally would not go any faster? then i just put on the front fairing hooked up all the intake lines and it was back to normal, have you or any body else had this problem??

Not bad, my ZX9 was jetted and stuff, which is not a good idea to do, makes the bike way to touchy on the throttle. But it was good to stunt on, but not near as easy as my CBR900. BUt I am a ZX fan :D

try blocking the air hose. with fairngs on i blocked the hole the air came through. then my bike just shot out. dont forget to check the air filter

towards the end of last summer I was doing a lot of slow stuff with my 6R, but no Circles. The flooding of the carbs part really really sucks. Me and CBo battled around this years ago. They just don't cut it anymore, you need fuel injection.

Its just the urethane ZX9 sliders you can buy for like 30 bucks they just happened to be the right size for me to hammer into the end of the cage

oh yeah my sprockets are, -1, +29 ,from sprocket specialists,and its weird at first but its nice gettin it right up there past the point it has alot of engine draw, so itll fall if u dont hit it just right ,ya know

Any suggestions on sprocket sizes for doing slow stuff but not losing to much get up and go. I roll wit alot of guys who do about 90 on the interestate and I have to keep up but I still want to rock some slow wheelies for bike nites. I just started doing wheelies a few weeks ago and I've already found my balance point so I'm ready to move on to a lil more complicated stuff.

Damn those wheelies for dummies videos will get you up in the air fast!!!!!!

go down 2 in the front and like 4 up in the rear. i think that is how mine is and i have slowed them down. cbo, dennis, t-card, are straight killin it. i can still go about 140 or so. so you do have room to play. i do want to go larger in the rear though

FI is alot better for 12s and bein on the bar, a carbed bike will tend to bog out sometimes and usually die after a short time on the bar.

Both my CBR900 and my ZX9 would tend to cough alil at 12's but, not all that bad. Fuel injection is the way to go now days. :nudge:
