ok...I'm 18 years old and im 6'10" and i got my first bike this summer. I't was an '89 vulcan 750 but its just not my style. im looking for a crotch rocket that i can fit on realatively comfortably. i've looked around and found some things i like but i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. i looked at '04 triumph daytona 600's and so far they are my favorite. but i also looked at '04 gsxr 600's and at the new '05 zx6 r. anyone got anything else i should check out? my biggest thing is being able to fit on it and ride aggressively.

thanks, kyle

im about 6ft 6in and i found that the f4i's are the most comforable for my size, the gsxr's and the 636 seemed to scrunched for me..

its also alot easier to find aftermarket for the f4i's then the triumphs.

as far as 600's go, thats gonna be the most comfortable. At leaset thats what Ive found and Im 6'4". You might try a 929 or even a 954. I ride a 900rr and am think about getting either an f4i or a 929

everybody is different so quit dicking around and hop on a bike that YOU feel most comfortable on...no one else will be able to tell you anymore than what they feel comfortable on

I'd be all about that but its cold. and i have riden bikes...i just havent found what i liked. i rode a 2k1 r6, a 98 zx6r, and a 97 f3 but i didnt really like they way any of them felt. the zx6r was most comfortable but still not quite what im looking for. im gonna have to go to the dealership and sit on some bikes in the next few days and decide.

thanks, kyle

ZX12R or Hayabusa...both are very good bikes for "vertically enhanced" riders.

the best is whatever you fit on :Noooo: try everything, but i think you'd be fine on a honda :nudge: they seem to be roomy :finger: do what you want, but post again before you do something stupid like i did when i bought my first bike :indif:

yea throw a cage on one of those and stunt it. :rotfl: :rotfl:

of course i shouldn't talk cause paul from the green mountain outlaws rocked a busa back in the day. no slow geared shit, but he definately held his own. Their old vid "Dominant Tricks" is going to be on ther new upcomming DVD. Make sure to check it out.

i dont like the way hayabusa's look, they are just plain mofugly. and as for the zx12r, i sat on a 04 zx10r and it was smaller than my friends 98 zx6r plus i dont really know if i want a 12 or 13 hundred for my first fast bike. im going to struthers bro's and garvis tomorrow to sit on some shit and see what i like.

Yo, I'm 6'5" and my 636 is just fine. Only thing I've done is flip the handlebars over to opposite sides to make them straight out and up higher. Scott from Stunters.com is about 6'8" or so and rocks a F4i. Those are fine too. If you plan on stunting I'd get an F4i or 636 or 04+ Gix 600, they are all great bikes.

are f4i's bigger than like a 97 f3? cuz i rode my friends f3 again the other day and it is way too small. and i know someone that has an 02 gixxer 600 for sale for $4000 and i also know of an 01 f4i for the same price....which one is the better deal? the gixxer has been down lightly once and the f4i has never been down that i know of.

thanks, kyle

probably not much help but, i've got a 04' zx6rr and it's great. if i have a choice, my next bike will be a gsxr 1000. the only thing i wish is that i woulda started with a 1000. at your size you might want to consider a 1000. just gotta be careful w/it. just my 2 pennies. the f4i's are good bikes. i just don't like'em cause their tall and it cost to lower them. i lowered my ninja for free. dam dude just remembered your age. 18 ? hell get you some dirty shit (600) and rock it for a while and decide later what you really want.

i got dirty shit hahaha 89 vulcan...i could buy my friends 97 f3 for like $3000...i rode it and its way small in my opinion but it would be good to get more experience on rockets.

true that. experience is the key. park the vulcan. get something used so if you drop it u can replace the broken parts and the hell with the body rash on it. I've got this new ninja and if i droped it boy would that suck. :vomit: but i guess that day will come cause if i keep playing w/fire i'm gonna get burned.
