White ink tattoos?

does anybody know anything about tattoos done with white ink? so far all I could find out is it works better on skin that is pale. Is it something that you could do a whole tatt in or will make it look like crap?

i've seen a couple white inks.... mostly tribal type designs and flames.... they are really subtle and usually take a second look from people.... i say skip the white ink and go with branding or scarification.... i've seen some pretty good work and have both types of work done, they take a real desire to get done...

but i still think the white ink is cool when it's the right design...

i got white ink in my tat and i tan very easily in the summer so the white isnt really noticable white is not a good color of choice

I got some white in mine...and it looks sick. But I hear its very hard to take care of, i.e. you have to put sun block on it everytime you leave the house.

White ink looks hott in some tats...... I have some in a few of mine.... sometimes you gotta take a second look to see........ check out the "tats on girls" forum I posted some pics!

I couldn't take white. I guess I'm too dark complected(sp?).

I only have it in one tat and I had it recolored and it still didn't show... :Hum:

my piercer has two white ink tribal tatts on his forearms. Things you should know: sun will fade it ASAP..he gets zero sun. He is also pale as hell. They look killer....but are alot of upkeep and prevantitive maint. to make sure you do not mess them up. You can get tattoo specific sunblock....that will help...

I have white angel wings...and I tan easily...It still looks good...I think white tats are a good choice!

according to what I can find it is a special pigment...that is UV reactive...also radioactive and from what I can tell will not be so good for you in a while....they will be the next thing making you die from cancer....

I cannot find anyone in the state that will use it or knows anything about it....the one shop I found that had info on it said NO in fould language to me about getting it....becuse ya lil bastid the white ghost flames was my idea in that pigment...(actually Lube and I saw a dude at Woody's that had it)....

well peeps i do know some on the black light tattooin and the guy in toledo said that they last only bout 6 months-1 year....theres been one case where it lasted bout 4 years....they r also more expensive than regular tats....when i found out how much it was to get a black light tat and then that they dont last that long i said fuck it....so theres wha i know on them
