what you need the vest for... i didn't think the streets up there were that rough that you need a vest when riding....
i know the military surplus stores sell the old vietnam era vests....

I have one, but I leant it to a friend who I dont see much. I stunted in it for a week, other than that, never used it. I got it off ebay for $90

Yea, you can pick up a second chance on ebay for real cheap. Just know that most of them are expired and will probably not fit you. You actually have to be fitted for a proper fitting vest.
As far as the homie discount, sorry, I still haven't even gotten my new one yet. Im still wearing an old beat up one! so, thats a big negative on that bro! Sorry!

Just make sure it is in great shape and actually bullet proof. That and certain vest only stop up to a certain caliber round. A few years ago at Ft. Riley, a few soldiers got drunk and shot each other with the vest on. One of them ended up in emergency surgery because the round went through the vest about the third time he got hit. By the way from what I here it hurts like hell afterwards. I personally don't want to find out. Good luck and have fun with it. Should make for some great footage.

i've got two of em a 3 and a 3a with a steel plate. if you have a slim frame you really dont need to be fitted for one. but if you have a gut (even a small one) it will keep riding up, thats why they usually have whats like shirt tails to tuck in so if you plan on wearing it over your shirt the ends will be all flopping around. not a big deal if your gonna trash it. but if you plan on buying one of ebay and then selling it when your done to get some money back you might not have a lot of luck.
