well, i was doin seat standers all night, pullin em up real high and slowin them down ALOT.....for those who didn't see, i pulled a spreader and then comboed to a seat stander....i was goin pretty fast, so i pulled it back and started using the engine brake to slow it down....well, i guess i was goin about 20 or so when it came all the way back....i rode the 12bar for a long-ass ways and when it slowed down enough for me to try and save it, i jumped off the left side running with it.....and i guess the passenger peg hit me in the knee when i pulled it down. haven't figured it all the way out, yet. i never hit the ground, i was up, walking around. i got ready to pick the bike up and i noticed i ripped my brand new pants i got last week. i looked to see how bad the rip was....and i saw something like this without the blood and all kneecap. dusty, daniel, and nathan got there first....daniel came up and i was like, "i fucked my knee up." he goes, "naw, you're okay." i said, "no man, i really fucked it up, get ready." then i showed them. that's when everyone started freaking out. i tried to tell em i didn't want to go to the hospital, but i knew as well as they did, i had to go. nathan got the truck and came back, daniel wrapped dusty's belt around my leg to keep it from gushing. how bout a pic, huh?

they asked me what hospital i wanted to go to and i was like, "the free one." turns out, parkland is only free to dallas county residents.
better look through the pants. oh, and by the way, the doctor said the wrapping a belt around the leg to stop bleeding is a last resort. they said to put pressure on it with whatever cloth type stuff you got.

we weren't sure of where to go, so we got out at the children's medical center....they're attached. anyway, becca runs up to this guy and gets him to get me a wheelchair. i was sitting on the curb while nathan parked the truck.

i had to piss, so i got up and went to the bathroom...well, mid-piss, it started bleeding again.

although i am pretty fond of this picture too.....don't get me wrong, i think this was the worst pain i ever felt in my life. he stuck that finger up my knee and started digging around....it was aweful. and this is before they gave me any pain medicine.

then they stuck this bigass needle in my knee and filled it up with water or something...they put some blue dye in the gash and stuck that needle in my joint. filled it up with water, and then sucked it back out to see if the cut went to the joint. this is when i found out i didn't need surgery.

then the lady came with my pain medicine....not even 30 seconds after they did all that to me. nathan gave his approval.
