i got the bike im fixin up today to run real good. then took it around the block. i noticed it stears easier to one side. so after checking everything out i realized the forks are bent. the guy i got the bike from said these are off a gsxr. can i have em straightened? if so who? where? how nuch? is it cheaper to get junk yard forks?

You can straighten em take them apart have a machine shop straightn em and put new inner and outer bushings along with seals and dust seals. Or the ghetto way is take front wheel off put axle back in hook to truck and other solid object and pull straight

i couldn't find any place willing to straighten. so i loosened everything (trees etc) put thge wheel between knees and twisted. its ghetto , but its kinda straight!!!! i hope this doesn't throw the pitch and yaw off too much and stills handles somewhat ok.

try finding any parts for a 94 rf900? it aint easy like pimpin. sopossedly these are new(junkyard) off a bandit? i didn't think they were off height wise. but i didnt really look either, might be a smidge since i did it with the bike just resting on the kickstand. and pitch and yaw is also for bikes. has to do with the steering geometry. :drunk: tommorow i'll check the height. thanks guuys.

You sure the forks are bent? The triples might just be twisted if you wrecked the front end. Loosen everything, get it straight, tighten it up and then go see if it still is pulling.
