i have to get rid of my syberian husky (reluctantly). she's 2 ,fixed, up to date on shots, and free to good home. she is crate trained and listens well but she's still a puppy and needs lots of att. you must know the breed to take her. otherwise you might regret it. huskys are great but too much for me to keep up with. i just dont have the time to give her the att that she needs. anyone in southern ill interested?

Hes not jokin......my friend has 4 of them. The 2 puppies are a handful to take care of and train. You dont want one of these to be your 1st pets heh

but you know PEOPLE don't give a damn. They want what THEY want. They don't do research, put effort into it, put the time to do the proper husbandry and exercise. They just want something "cool" or looks "pretty"....

They don't weigh the pros and the cons, only the pros. So when the cons come they freak and figure out the mistake they made.

As for the person GIVING this dog away, at least you realized this early on and are caring enough to try. Most "famlilies" would take it to the pound and not lose 5 min sleep if the dog were put to sleep even though it was their kids best friend....

The sooner the better. But why don't you just keep it and work it? Its not that hard really. My dog is DMENADING. I have to get him ready for the Bite trial competitions in 6-8mo and have to spend 3hrs/day no matter how tired I AM. Take your dog, play fetch for a 1 hr. Train for 30min, and thats it. DO this every other day and that's bare minimum and your fine.

Or kill 2 bird with one stone. Train seprartly, 20min this one, 20 the other. Just take ONE out, then after done, take the other and put this one back.

Then have them burn eachothers exercise. Burlap sacks for tug-owar, etc...

You can do it if you REALLY want to. Now 2-3 of my import military dogs would DEF be TOOOO MUCH for me. I do not have 9hrs a day to spend on dogs. But your not trying to compete for anything. All you have to do is feed, med's, and exercise. Run them both for 2hrs hard everyother day and that is sufficient. I'd leave the other brownie behind. Id take that one and run it. Get in your fukkin car. grab the leash with your hand and drive 5MPH
X-amount of distance until you get the dogs pads toughened and the health and endurance up.

You can be done with the energy burning in 20min or 30min. Every other day.

That's not too much to ask.

What's the REAL prob? Are you broke and really can't afford the dog? Or do you really not care for the time that will be expended on the dog so get rid of it and you have only 1 lazy dog that is "more cool"?

Dont take me for harsh. I say this and talk to everyone like this.,

I just want to know why man, you know?

Let me know dude.
I am curious....

Thats a cool dog, if I had more time on my hands I'd take her, unfortunately I'm in the same boat...

i dont want to get rid of her. my wife does!!! what the wife says goes. plus we dont have a huge place for her to run around (small fenced in yard). plus we travel a lot btween ill and mass. everyone loves sadie and lets us bring her , but no one will put up with nikki cuz she's so rambunxious (think i spelled that wrong) it gets expensive to keep kenneling her. we do train her and she's pretty good. my friend is a canine cop and helped a little at first which made things easier. we origanally got her to keep our older dog company, but we didnt do the research to really know what we were getting into. my wife is fed up with the chewing. she just needs more attn. than we can provide and still remain sane.

I hear you man. Well, the best of luck to you and try not to let the wife wear the shorts too much. Most women want to be treated fairly and feel they are equal but treat the mean harshly and the men have to put up with all the crap. And God forbid if we say something :tired:

I'll see if I can find someone in your area that might foster it...
