just wonderin if anyone else ever had this problem. When im cruisin down the road and i let go of my handle bars my front end gets some major woble. My friend had this happen before and he replaced his front tire and every thing seemed to be ok after that. MY fornt tire is pritty beat but i dont know how it got that way because it barley ever touches the ground. Any suggestions hit me back. :fiddy:

Despite what most non stunt types think wheelien is harder on a front tire than regular contact. Tires can make a huge difference, if not that check the steering stem nut torque, and if the bike has a steering dampner, check to see its working turned up or what ever.

Other than that i dunno

if the tire or rim was fucked it seems like it would wobble all the time. a freind of mine had a loose steering stem nut and his did that shit. ( if it's loose then check your stem bearings ) you could sit on his and push foward on the handlebars and pull back ( not up and down) and see the play in it at the stem. the problem was he had a shop to put new bearings in it and they didn't tighten the nut good. he rode it for months before it was noticable. just my 2 cents. good luck

mine was doing that, pulled off the GPR damper and the square peg coming out of the damper was rounding off! I took it off and its on its way back to GPR!! also my front wheel is out of balance, but now that my damper is off it doesn't get any wobble unless I wind er up to about 120mph.....still need to get that balanced, maybe after I get another set of tires, since the wheels will be off anyways right???

My front tire is almost gone anyway so ill prob get a new tire and get it all balanced up and see what happens, and check for loose nuts. I got a 96 900rr so it didnt come with a stabilizer but i do eventually wanna get one.

9 times out of 10 its from the front tire starting to cup. It can also be from a bent rim, forks, or loose headset.

My hat goes off to anyone who cruises around at a buck-twenty fully knowing their front wheel isn't balanced!! Hope that doesn't come up spades for ya!

more than likely it's a cupped worn out tire... a simply worn tire can wreak all kinds of havoc on the way the bike can handle... if your tire is beat then start by replacing it and not with a dunlop product...
