tank spreaders & high chairs on 600s

Now i did post this up on SL a while back but i still dunno, I wanna do spreaders and high chairs on my F4i WITHOUT gearing it. I wanna learn everything I can with out gearing my bike first. I wanna be able to ride a spreader for fairly long distances and shit...it would be nice to b able to hit sum on the expressway too, but that might be asking for too much. Ive heard the 636 is better for HC and spreaders cuz its more torque. I dunno everyone let me kno and/or give me your 2cents.

can you already ride a wheelie at balance point ( not gaining any speed to keep up the wheelie) cuz if you can do that your halfway there, if you can't that's where you need to start. and your f4I is plenty capable with stock gearing

my F2 is only -1 and it can pull up the front to BP with me on it. Just gotta work on that no dented tank issue. Since yours is an F4i and alot newer im sure you'd have no problem doin them.

get the bp on lock, then in first gear try a tank wheelie. do it till you dont have to think about it and it just comes to you.

it's easy man, i replied in the SL thread for this a while back... u're NOT gonna pull it up in 2nd gear while on the tank or in hc, not with stock gearing... standups all day long in 2nd gear, just not tank shit... learn bp (incase u haven't) and then just take it slow, u'll get it quick, not that hard

I had a stock f4i, no gears. Just clutch it in 2nd, and jump to the tank as it comes up to the balance point. This way you have to gag the shit out of it, if you r already on the tank. 1st gear same thing, just be smooth on the throttle. 1st gear on a f4i is perfect, I could slow down spreaders and H/c,

rocken around 35 mph.

How are your second gear spreaders?

Keep the engine revs high when you're wheelying on the highway so you'll have more engine brake when (not if) you need it.

stand up and bounce your legs as u clutch it in 2nd, and azn how do u expect to jump to spreader? yeah it looks cool but not nearly as easy as you think... learn 1st gear spreaders first, it'll come up just fine. if you can hang bp in 1st gear in a spreader, up all nice and high, then once u get some gearing 2nd gear will be cake

f4i stock clutch up 2nd gear no worries, but if i was you i would gear it, i didnt like mine when it was stock i now run -1 front +10 rear, and i love that shit,,, i dont have dented tank and everytime i try clutch up a spreader in first my ass slides straight on to the seat, i know i gotta smash that shit in but just dont wanna crack it..... should be done by the weekend, ill post up pics..

if you wanna rock HCs and Spreaders on your stock f4i.....

then...

sit on the gas tank... and wheelie..

gearing doesnt matter bro..

gearing is a tool that you can utilize to help change, shape, and mold your style and preference...

HCs and spreaders are possible on stock ninja 250s....

just takes practice!! now go do it and post some pics!

I was just thinking about it and the question really isnt if spreaders and HC are possible on a 600, but more of how well a 600 would handle a 2nd gear spreader or HC and what about 3rd?

I kno jumpin to the tank isnt that easy I didnt mean to come off like i thought they were...but i do think that looks a lot sicker and I guess thats what I really wanna get down is seat standers and then jump into a spreader.

Anywho thanks again for the help guys...if anyone else has more tips or wants to throw in their 2 cents go ahead.

if you can't hang bp yet, then isuggest taking baby steps first... once u get bp down pat, then things will be easier, it's too dangerous to just try to jump into a HC and rock it at bp, when u dunno what bp is.. that can get you in trouble, so just take your time, you'll get it, and no u are not gettin 3rd gear spreaders on stock gearing, not even 2nd gear on stock unless u're jumping, and i say learn spreaders after u learn bp, not seat stander to spreader... i have a +10 that'll be goin on this weekend, i'll tell u how easy it is to pull up 2nd n3rd gear spreaders
