Hey, everybody... I dont know how many of you are religious. (I am)
anyways, if you are, i ask that you keep a couple of young men in your prayers for a while.

My best friend is currently in Korea. Last night his little brother and another very good friend of mine were hit head-on on the highway. The two young women (both in high school) who crossed the center line were ejected, one died, one is in critical condition and WILL NOT make it.
Alex, my best friends little brother, (16 years old), and Jake (18 years old), my good friend are both in critical condition right now. Both are undergoing extensive surgery today and tomorrow.

Once again, your prayers are very much appreciated.

All I know right now is that Jake was life-flighted to souix city, and alex was a bloody mess this morning. My mom went to see him -and there was still so much glass in his body that they hadn't been able to get out that he was strapped down so that he couldn't move. The hospital bed was covered in blood when mom showed up.
Jake almost lost a leg completely, broke his arms, most ribs, collarbone, and smashed his face. Still in critical condition.
Alex had the glass... and he busted his face BAD. I guess his jaw was nearly dislodged.

I'll keep everybody posted.

Things are looking ok

I guess alex was pissed this morning when for breakfast they gave him cherios instead of jello. He likes his jello. He gets his jaw wired back together tomorrow morning.

Jake has pins and rods from his ankle to his pelvis... thats all i know so far.
