so ya my neighbors shot themselves in an old fashion shoot out and now i cant get through to my house....wtf my nice quiet neighborhood is full of cops.....the road is shut off and now im stranded...so much for getting out of work early

the kids 2 doors down from mom and dad robber a few beer stores and they cleared out my parents hole street and raided the house

the troopers arent saying much besides my neighbor was shot by the other neighbor....the little old lady was transported to the hospital, her daughter died and the kid next door is on the run...wtf...i woldnt have expected it in the countryside like this u know

Wow... that's crazy stuff. That kind of stuff always happens in small communities. Sorry to hear about that. Is the kid that ran, is he a suspect?

Stupid ass kids with guns... what is wrong with kids today? Only gun I ever picked up was a water gun.. except for when my dad took me target shooting when I was in 4th grade... either way teenagers today are fucking morons. Just like that idiotic kid up in Minnesota who shot up his school. I wish he would have lived so he could regret doing that every day of his life while he was on his knees servicing guys like "Big Rob" in prison... sorry for the tangent but people piss me off. Keep us informed on what happens.

There is no consequence for actions today. We have to send kids to 'time-out' and never raise our voices... or else they "divorce" their parents. With all the school shootings, this obviously isn't working. I got the wooden spoon and a "switch" now and then. You don't hear me crying abuse...I actually thank my parents for turning me into who I am today! I have respect for the law, other's lives, etc.

In near-by Johnston, IA there was a kid this past year that shot an innocent babysitter (newly engaged college student) and a social worker (wife and 2 kids)... wrecked a bunch of lives and then killed himself!?

Our nation/race is a master at causing our own destructon.

Sorry to hear about this being right next door bro!

Hahahaha... I got the belt and the hand and the occasional back hand across the mouth when I mouthed off but I love both of my parents to death and I feel the same way as you do. I appreciate EVERYTHING about the way I was raised when I was younger, I believe it has made me to respect my parents, others in authority and I see these little kids who mouth off to their parents or cuss and hit and get "time outs." Makes me sick that these bratty little fuckers are going to be the ones running the country when I am retired.... almost a scary thought. It almost makes me not want to have kids now because God forbid you smack them on the bottom and they get taken out of your home and put in foster care... maybe I will just have dogs.

EXACTLY...this is the generation that is going to take care of us!? Coddled pansies that have no respect. Do what they want, kill who they kill....then go to time-out! They can't even play dodgeball in school because some lil baby got his glasses broken. I wholly believe that it is the responibility of the parents, but if I can't do anything more than tell my future son that "we shouldn't do that, go to time-out"....it is kinda our gov'ts fault.

Does anyone remember good ol' Darwin? Theory of Natural Selection..... "nature selected the best adapted varieties to survive and to reproduce". Let's hope some of these individuals fall pray to the wonderful game of "survival of the fittest"!

Yeah, unfortunately I am from Iowa... I would love to move... who needs a roomate? HAHAHAHA! I am so glad someone thinks the way I do. I mean from the second the sun came up until the street lights came on I was outside playing, exploring, skinning up my knees, playing in the woods and now God forbid a kids glasses get knocked off his face during dodge ball games. I got punched HARD in the stomach when I was in 4th grade for kicking a boy in the shins and that knocked the wind out of me.. did I run home and tell my mom only to have her turn around a file a suit against the kid and school?
