R.I.P. to the fallen rider. As far as the cop, judging by the phone call it appears He sees "To protect and serve" as a burden and something he would rather not do. Since that is in fact what taxpayer’s dollars are paying him to do, is there a petition started to relieve him of his "burden". If so, let me know. I'll sign it in a heartbeat! 15 days off is not nearly enough punishment for that kind of callous and unprofessional behavior.

and he is appealing it saying that 15 days is too harsh...asshole
that's so not right... you should seriously call your govener and see what you can do. a pettition might help.... the only problem is looking at what's happening with that Terri S. chick there might not be anything that CAN be done about it.... but you would at least get a TON of signatures form this side....

R.I.P. to the rider....
I can't even believe this. And for them to say "LeBlanc said Peasley and the one civilian dispatcher on duty on the evening of Aug. 17 were swamped with calls from another accident and several other incidents. LeBlanc said the incident illustrates the stress on dispatchers and troopers who man the desks at the busiest barracks." and to try and use that as an excuse for what he said is complete shit! Like someone else said, he should not be working in that position if he can not handle his duties. If this would have happened to my family when my brother died, I would do everything I could to make sure this cop did not have a job!!

That is an outrage. I hope when he takes a slug to the chest, and his only ride to the hospital is a biker, the guy tells him "Too bad"
