Well the 911 tape finally arrived two weeks ago after months of allegations....the dispatcher who took my friends 911 calll was a total asshole...he said " thats too bad" and hung up....then on the next call said "well shouldnt have been fucking around"......hung up again...it wasnt until the next call that a dispatcher assessed the situation.....no matter what the circumstances the call should have been made and help arriving no matter how serious....now my good friend is dead and the family is left to grieve....i cant even look out my side door and see his house anymore without feeling pissed off and sad about that day back in august....not to mention that his birthday was earlier this month on the third,,,,wtf

the whole situation is messed up and the cop is now appealing the decision saying 15 days without pay is too harsh

Regardless of whether or not the end result would have been the same no matter what the trooper said, he should still be fired, fined, and sued. The fact is that at the time of the call he DID NOT know if the person would live or die.....not that, that even matters because saying "too bad" under any circumstance is just completely wrong.
The statements by Police aren't much better.....

Just to clear things up, dispatchers usually are not sworn peace officers, meaning they aren't cops. That's like saying the clerk that you pay your fine to is a cop.
Either way, I think this asshole should rot! This is a prime example of certain people giving the law enforcement community a bad name. I am on you're guys' side on this one, Id try and charge out that guy with manslaughter since his negligence cause someone to die.
edit: Sorry, I didn't see that he was a Troop, okay, yea, either way, he should rot!

R.I.P .. We all have fallen brothers/sisters but this is a extreme case and nothing can mend your pain except time. I hope the best for you aswell as the Family. This won't help but Carma is a bitch.

Sorry to hear about this tragedy. I myself have witness first hand how the police and the fire departmet handle sportbike accidents. Not all police and fire fighters are like this guy, but there are a few of them out there.

i'm so sorry to hear of a rider going down and the state trooper's reaction is insane. i hope this cop get fired and i think he should go to jail for his actions. i could not believe that a 911 operator hung up on a caller. i hope that when he needs backup or help for an injury, no one responds. let him die out there on the side of the road as he has left others.

I just wanted to say sorry for your and his families loss. I already posted my views in a public cop forum, and never hid the fact that I was a sportrider.
Not to bring up a sore subject, but what happened at the accident. Were y'all stuntin, racing or what, and did he have a lid and gear on?
BTW, I am not LEO, this is just for my personal info. I do stunt and am in the process of building a purpose built bike just for slow, control stuff. I also wear full gear including a lid and back protector. Granted I suck for now, but hopefully that will change soon when I learn the bike.
And once again, sorry for the loss, I know, from experience that it hurts.
