i was out riding for the first time of the season today, and w/ my new gearing, like 13 up or somethin. just out there tryin to learn some slower shit. it felt like i was tryin to learn all over again so i started w/ just doin sit downs. anyways, w/ the gearing, i was spinning the tire in 2nd 3rd and 4th. would that be because of to high of psi? so i just worked on bringin it up quick in first and just gettin use to the rear brake . and i was runnin 3grand on my idle speed, is that good enough or should i go higher. oh yeah and i broke my 4th upper fairing stay

what tire pressure you running? my 750 is 13 up and 2 down i havent had any problems with tire spin except when the pavement is cold which might still be a problem for a few more weeks. i run my idle around 3 grand and have about 10 psi in the rear tire. Im sure andy and paul will be on later tonight and maybe can think of a few things i havent.

yeah, if you're just starting to learn 12's, I would run about 10psi. I even went as low as 7psi at first. Stick with it, and eventually, you'll be able to do everything with 20psi no problem....well, except no throttle hand flamingos, anyway. :fight:

Nothing to be embarassed about. You have to start somewhere. Just make sure someone is around when you try new stuff....even things you've done a hundred times before, for that matter. I would've been in big touuble on sunday if nobody was with me.
