ok so i can clutch up from a stand still (standing) and ride it out in 1st gear all the time, prob 80% of the time i can get it to stay around 7000 RPM and hold it there for about 50 meters or so, but i wanna start slowing it down i have F4i with -1 +10 gearing, there has been a few times where i need to use the break but im not comfortable with it yet, ive been at this stage for a few weeks now and feel like this stage is fuggen hard to learn (the break)..
i also have tried lifting the bike to 12 with a friend helping me, and riding it with one foot in the bar and one on the break and tapping the break idle around 3 grand, and that shit is hard i have crashed a few times, stalled a few times and come down nice a few times, people told me not to do it but i did anyways cause i thought it would be helpfull and it has been, but anyways what can i do, to improve my wheelies, i just wanna be able to rock the shit using the break...........
(a) keep at it, it will come to me when im ready
(b) just ball it up and throtle past the BP and hit the break
(c) keep doing the 12 bar thing
(d) relax this shit aint come over night.
just wondering how long this took all you guys to learn???
cheers

k here's how to learn, it's perfect how u'r riding it to 7k, keepin it steady, put pressure on the brake, from the dead stop... keep the brake steady, and overpower it with throttle..once u get it to bp, and the rpm's stay steady.. then give it more gas (i know this sounds and will feel weird) and u'll hear the rpms start to go burrrr (sound of rpms dying) and there u go, that's how u learn

if your foot is restin on the brake and you hear the "burrrrrrrrrrrrr" sound then you're behind the bp, releasing any pressure from the brake will drop the bar to the ground, so if you're planin on doin that, then be going slow enough to hop off and run w/ it, cause it will probably scare you enough to jump off, but a few times of finding that 12 isnt all that far back, will give you the confidence you need to take it to the next step.

Just practice. Get used to the feeling of the brake. I hit 12 two days ago and it was weird. Just get used to it. Keep at it boi, you will get it.!!!

thanks again
ALL I WANNA DO IS STUNT :gator:
KEEP AT IT ....... man, i'm at the same stage as you, just learning to slow it down and also scrape... i'm havin a bit of problem with brake control, but like i always get told PRACTICE, PRACTICE, CRASH, GET UP, PRACTICE PRACTICE..etc..

If you are going to try the jump off method, make sure you know where your clutch is. It will help you save the bike, jumping off + no clutch = bad things for the bike and maybe you.
Other then that justin is pretty much on the money, eventually it will become like second nature, you will wonder why it took you so long to learn it.
another thing I used to tell people when learning 12's first was to think of it like this. Once you get past BP roll on the throttle while applying more pressure on the brake, this will start to slow you down a little more.

yeah like crtch said lightly drag your brake but slow it down u should b at low rpms. throttle response at 7gs is nasty try gettin it up high and fast keep chest close to the tank and run tire flat like 7psi
