So, tonight I went to pick up my bike from Andy. And lemme tell ya, Andy is the man. Motor swap and all my silly little bullshit things that I've neglected over the past two years in a little over 48 hours. And because Andy's a good guy, he's nice to me (or he takes pity on me, not sure which), and I'm not going to discuss money. But I came up with a figure that I know isn't really fair, but I'm not trying to take advantage of the guy either, right? Right.

So I have that particular amount of money in my pocket, ready to go. He wraps the bike up and I pull the money out and hand it to him. Knowing that it also includes some money for materlals (oil, etc). And he kinda looks at it and says "I mean, if it's gonna break you, just get me later." and I'm thinking in my head, it's enough to not be insulting, and I have enough in my pocket to get home on, so I say "No man, you did a ton of work, I appreciate it, etc" and he keeps asking if I am going to have money for gas etc.

Anyway, long story short, 30 minutes later, near my house, I stop for gas. And I know I have about $6 in my pocket for gas. I reach in, and pull out.... that predetermined larger amount of money I meant to give Andy!! Which means, near as I can figure... I gave Andy $6 for swapping my motor.
