I started learning to 12 oclock my bike at the end of last season and scarped the bar about 6 or 7 times and now this season i just changed my gearing i went -1 +14 on my F4i and this season it feels like i gotta learn everything all over again! i went out today and practiced for a little while and i would clucth it up at about 5mph or from almost a stop and almost everytime i was getting all wobbly. i had my rear tire pressure at 12 psi and then i dropped it to 7psi and i would still start to wobble when i was going slower. i would wobble a lot more if i was sitting rather than standing (one foot on the rear peg and the other on the front) standing i really didnt wobble. but i dont know what it is! why i start to wobble. maybe i just need to pratice more and get used to the new gearing more. and it probably doesnt help not riding for 6 months. what do u think? just need to get out and practice more? it just gets frustrating when i learned this stuff last season and now i feel like i gotta start all over again!

sorry for the long post!

give it time, you'll have to relearn.

i learned for a few weeks on a -1 f4i feet staggered. (one front, one rear peg) and it was a pain in the ass.

then i got my f4i and before i ever rode it i put -2 +12 and went right out. staggered for me WAS always wobbley but if you can get your left leg straight, say in the trunk or bar, then you'll find the bike is MUCH more controlable and its gonna take practice to knock off the cobwebs.

You're ahead of me. I only hit my bar once last year, and crashed. I went out this weekend with new gearing (-4) and it was freaking me out. Wobbling a lot too. I think I was running too much psi, but Brandon was tellin' me that a lot of it has to do with the road being crowned.

I should have gone out today and worked on it, but I was hung over...

Oh yeah, I'm on a Gix1K and was workin' sitting down only.

ya i need to find a new spot to pratice at and that is a nice flat surface. i would get really wobbly when i was sitting rather to standing.

only advice i could give ya is to let the bike do what its going to do the more ya stiffen up the more it moves when u try to fight it, standy tells me that every time i wobble on sit downs and as soon as i loosen up its fine my 2 cents
