i just started practicing them...im making decent progress by verting the bike cathing the idel and just letting my ass rest against the passanger seat, i noticed a lot of people hook their left foot under the foot peg, is this to help balance the bike or to stay on?? also any other tips will be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks guys, i ve been able to let go fine and ride the idle/brakes for like mayeb 15 feet as my farthest, thats without hookin my foot, i figured it might mmake it easier to control the bike since you cant use your hands

Hook so you dont have to use your knees to grip the tank, use knees for steering like you would on a fiddy
