OK...I have a 94 900 rr that was stock and the guy I bought it from gave me a new powers cage for it...I dont know how to mount this damn thing. I have the whole back tore apart and Im trying to fine the proper placement for this and how my tail light will mount up...Any suggetions/comments ?

probly either bolt in on ...use exhaust clamps or weld that bitch...are you sure its a bar? not a cage to way different things...not doubting your intelligence just makin sure!

NO my cage fits snug...The 12 bar in the back....I can bolt it up to the sub frame but then nothing else fits.

it has brackets welded to the 12 bar on one side...maybe kevin(the dude that sold it to me) bought/got the wrong 12 bar. maybe its for another bike. I sent a e-mail to powers in this and hopefully I can get some answers.

I have a 96rr its basically the same set up. i had the same prob with my 12 bar. it bolts up fine but then the tail light wont fit back where it was. i called them and they said i would have to remount the tail light, but anyway i ended up not using that bar and i got a 905 12 bar that bolted up fine without even touching the tail light. so either move your light down and remount it or try a bar from a different company.

thats the reason i asked.....Didnt mean to sound like a dumbass on my end, just wanted to make sure we were talking/thinkin about the same thing
