So I bought a powers cage from meacham that didn't have any bolts. I called up powers to order a bolt kit the beginning of this week, I need it ASAP for a big ride this weekend which I told them. I was planning on ordering it next day for an additional $30 shipping but whoever answered the phone there said it wasn't worth it, he checked ground shipping and it will get here thursday... which is today. Now here I've sat all day waiting for the UPS man to deliver these bolts and NOTHING. So now I've wasted my only day off waiting for a package that never came. Even if it does come tomorrow I'm working a 16 hour shift so I won't be here to accept it. I tried calling them around 4 to get a tracking # but I guess they close at 4:30 ET

LAME. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

first of all ups comes all the up to 8pm. if your not home when it comes leave a note on the mailbox tellin the ups guy to leave the package.. and he will.. as long as there is a note there.. the package is so small it will probably just fitin the box.

I bought a cage that didnt fit, sent it back and they said they would refund my money. 5 phone calls and 3 months later, still NO MONEY. Filed a report with the credit card company and they are investigating. Credit card company gave me the money back.

don't even tell me this... I was looking at where the cage mounts and it looks like the right side doesn't line up...

and in chicago UPS delivers until 6. My guy is usually here no later than 3 :btroll:

I have a couple questions.....how does powers stay in business, and why do people keep giving them business?

I have heard nothing but bad things about them. I know that every cage company has their share of bad publicity, but with powers it seems outstanding. Ive heard alot about them breaking cases, on almost every brand of bike. Ive heard NOTHING but bad about their customer service. And everybody that posts about the install either says the install really really sucked, or that it didnt line up at all.

???anybody???

Finally got the bolts yesterday. Install would have taken about 5 minutes except for the fact that the right side motor mount bolt was about 1/2" to short. Took about 15 min to cut down the hollow bolt down and then I got it to fit. Haven't wrecked on the cage yet but it looks solid as fuck.... time will tell
