Aloha!

Been lurking for awhile, thought I my as well register although I dont get into stunting myself, I like to watch it (bike [VFR 800] isnt that capeable.. I think that saves me hehe) About as radical as I get is a seldom burnout or a few wheelies.. But my daughter likes it when I return home in one peice :)

Just out of curiosity, where do you people practice in SE MI?? Id like to come spectate if I can one time.. And wheres the nice twisties? Best Ive ridden is Route 6 in OH near Bowling Green, and W. Huron River Drive out of A2.

hey, I am from Taylor, right by you. I dont know many West side riders out here, but there are tons from the East side. check out www.detroitstreetryders.com.

As far as stunt groups, AOB is downriver, then ST wayyyy West side,DV8 & Critical Mass(they have a forum on this site),Eastside.

hope that helps you out a little, you can get in touch with me and I will let you know if I am riding anytime over here, once I pick up my bike this week. :bouncy:

Thx for the welcome guys and girls!

Drop... where do you guys practice?? Id like to come watch one time.. If I cant do the stuff, its fun to dream LOL (well without some major gearing changes to the Viffer) I used to go to Wyandotte a lot, but since my daughter was born, my time during the week is very limited. Do people still ride 75 and Holbrook on Sats??

Do the Concrete Surfers still ride, or are they split.. I saw Sean on ST's site...

Shawn still rides, I see him around, but I dont know what is the deal with concrete surfers. I think Shawn just does riding by himself, or with other stunt groups.

Yeah people still ride out that way on 75.. but it got so crazy out there.. too many people just doing what they want to do... So We got permission from a local city to ride on the weekends..... Worked out great for us....

The concrete surfers probably split apart aprox 3 years ago. Shawn was the founding person so he keeps his name going... He has a family and all.. He gets out every once in awhile...

As far as coming to hang out your more than welcome to... Just hit me up on the cell or pm me... Daryl 313-587-9680

Wdup Ken, I am downriver as well (Rouge)... Checkout www.detroitsportbikes.com and www.wideopensportbikes.com as well. They are both riding groups in the metro area. I have rode with both groups and they are a good bunch of guys. Actually, I did a ride with DSB this past Sunday up to Flint. It was about 15 bikes and we took the back roads in. It was definitely good times. WOS is upgrading their site so the forum is limited right now. Check back though, as they plan rides as well. In fact, they're doing a ride through the twisities this Saturday.

TWISTIES!?! WHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe they're meeting at 10:00 am at N. Territorial/23...Go to www.wideopensportbikes.com . Click on WOS Forum and you'll see a thread listed as "Ride Sat." They list the meet spot there. I can't make it on Saturday but I am thinking of shooting out that way, maybe through Hell on Sunday.

cant make it either... Dreaded R/R problems have struck my Viffer... DAMMIT! Ride an hour and its d-e-d til it cools, then it starts charging once again....
