Who makes the best cage. What are the pros and cons of the different cages?

FI is the best cage i have ever used 905 and powers suck but that is just my opinion!

i have had great luck with mine it's hit the ground pretty fukin hard and is still solid!

fi are good on certain bikes but they dont last as long as a powers or 905 cage

i gotta 905 cage and love it...but yea i have hit me shins alot...other than
that its a strong cage, my bikes hit the ground hard a bunch of times and still
holdin up fine

took me 5 min to learn where the 905 cage was, I don't hit my shins anymore. The cages hold up to severe beatings!

it did bust my shins once and a while but shit i didnt care as long as it did the job!

905 SUCKS ASS i have seen it fuck up the case 1/2 on a motor,on a slow drop from a parked 12, your talkin a lot of work to fix that need to pull the motor apart.....GET FI

well heres what i have gathered up...

the 905 tuff ass cage... but it flips the bike up on the tank due to how its made, it also dont come with sliders and you cant even put some on the cage.

the fi havent heard nothing bad about otherwise than it us just 1 lousy ass bar that rund down the side of the bike (how much can that actually protect)

the mdx i heard that they are bullet proof like the 905 but also flip your bike onto the tank

now the powers which is what i have.. i heard they are not as strong at the 905 but a better design. the old design used to snap and not really do a good job.. but the new ones like pictured on my bike are i think the best design.. it has reinforcements, and goes down the bottom under the bike with a skid plate..you also NEVER hit your shin with the new stile. it also comes powder coated the color of your bike. and its only $245 a little cheaper than the others. heres the pic..
the only bad thing about powers is the CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!

I have a FI its a "good" cage but if your dragging or praticing circles, there junk. Beacuse of the design the impact if all taken on 1 major point the front point on the engine that the slider is attached to......they will bend with just a few 12 or dragging crashes.....I've only went down a hand full of times at low speeds...under 7 mph....broken subframe tabs twice...01' gsxr1000.

just the engineering of the 905 cage is better, sperading impacts out on to 3 points...tho- they could be a bit wide-er, that way the bikes dont end up on their tanks... but, they will hold up to a beating....

I've just herd bad things...(customer serv.) about powers. allright cage..but bad service.....although my powers cage for my RR didnt fit well..had to grind on one of the mounts....

I orderd a 12 bar from powers almost a fucking month ago summer in alaska is short so i need that dam thing like the hate said the 905 cage destroyed my motor and on everyone we have up here it bends back into the motor becuse they have no sliders but the fi cage we have up here seems to work great

powers strong cage awesome ,but be prepaired to wait 3 months for it and then youll have to keep callin to get shit straight very unprofessional but great cage

I AGREE TOTALY DUDE, i rock a 905 cage and it does the job well. I has only touched my tank once, and it wasnt a big deal. My opinon on the FI cages, is that they dont look like they will do much for you if your gonna get an FI cage you might as well just get their extended sliders, because it looks like thats the only thing that will ever touch the ground....
