i do piercings and can give a little insight on female genital piercings, what most girls have/get is either a vertical hood or horizontal hood, done properly neither will have any negative effects and both are actually quite painless, most ppl say they hurt less than any other piercing because its through so little skin, also the vertical hood done properly provides the most *positive effects* but youre still not walkin around sloppy wet all the time unless you wear super tight panties along with the right jewelry for your anatomy, although a true clit piercing is a bad idea because youre guranteed to lose feeling in your clit within a few years if not months. the biggest problem with hood piercings is the fact that so many inexperienced or careless piercers go through the hood and the clit whether its due to incorrect anatomy(not every girl has enough hood skin to have pierced) or just plainly not knowing or caring what theyre doing
